Organized by UKBC under the Royal Society of Biology, BC is a prestigious biology contest for middle school students worldwide, highly regarded by top universities including Oxford and Cambridge.
In Central China, where biology is not a traditional strength and few schools participate, our students still stood out and won multiple awards – a truly remarkable achievement.
The Integrated Department’s middle school program uses the IB MYP framework. It combines the national curriculum with inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, and real-world learning, fostering globally minded, action-driven lifelong learners. Our BC success proves the power of this approach.
